Keep the people behind your work in one searchable place.

A practical guide to adding, organizing, searching, and exporting professional contact records in LinkAvro CRM.

By LinkAvro · Updated

Start with the records you are permitted to manage

A CRM is most useful when each record has a clear purpose. Add the professional contacts you work with or have a lawful reason to manage, then keep the fields focused on useful business context.

  1. Open Contacts in your LinkAvro workspace.
  2. Add a contact manually or import a CSV with the fields you need.
  3. Review names, companies, roles, links, and tags before saving.
  4. Search or filter the saved records when you need a specific relationship.

Keep records useful and proportionate

Use notes and tags for professional context, not as a place to collect unrelated personal details. Keep records accurate, remove contacts you no longer need, and honor requests to stop using someone's information.

Export when you need a copy

Workspace exports help you retain a copy of the professional records you manage. Treat exported files like CRM data: store them securely, limit access, and delete copies you no longer need.

Frequently asked questions

Can I import a spreadsheet?+

Yes. Use the workspace import flow for a CSV or add records individually, then review the fields before saving.

Can I store sensitive personal data?+

No. LinkAvro is designed for ordinary professional contact records and relationship context, not passwords, payment information, government IDs, health information, or other sensitive data.
